InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay brings a residential way of living to an established hospitality brand. With apartment-style accommodation and views towards Dubai’s canal and skyline, the property is designed around stays that can follow a more personal routine. Outdoor space has a different value in this context: it becomes part of daily life, not simply something to experience once during a visit.

NextSpace contributed outdoor furniture to the Business Bay project, working with Link Worldwide, the owner’s team and IHG’s design and management teams. The collaboration placed the furniture package within a property where the expectations of a home and a hotel meet.

A setting used repeatedly needs to feel familiar and comfortable while retaining the care expected of InterContinental. Outdoor space becomes somewhere to return to, not simply a view to admire on arrival. The furniture contribution supports that residential character, giving the exterior a role in the rhythm of longer stays and the everyday experience of living in Business Bay.
