At Shebara, architecture appears to borrow its surface from the landscape. Killa Design’s mirror-polished stainless-steel villas reflect the sea and sky, changing their appearance with the light. Studio Paolo Ferrari’s interiors add a different kind of detail within, while the island setting keeps the relationship with the outdoors central to the resort’s identity.

NextSpace supplied branded outdoor furniture for the resort, collaborating with Red Sea Global and purchasing consultant Cairncross Martin. The package formed part of a destination owned and operated by Red Sea Global, bringing specialist outdoor collections to a project where architecture and landscape are deliberately difficult to separate.

Where the villas are read from a distance as sculptural forms, outdoor settings are experienced slowly and at close range. Furniture provides places to settle within the island landscape without needing to repeat the architectural spectacle. At Shebara, the contrast between reflective buildings and tangible outdoor objects gives the guest experience both a striking image and a more grounded sense of place.
