Laze High Back Lounge Chair

Gordon Guillaumier is a Malta-born, Milan-based designer known for his sensitive approach to materials, proportion and craftsmanship. After studying at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan and the Domus Academy, he founded his own practice and has since collaborated with leading Italian design brands, developing furniture and lighting pieces that combine formal restraint with quiet expressiveness.

For Roda, Guillaumier designed the Laze collection, inspired by the shape of a large leaf folded around the body. His approach translates that natural image into a stainless steel shell strung with polyester cords, creating a family of lounge chairs, rocking chair, chairs, armchair and stool that share a single enveloping gesture across the whole system.
