Pier Dining Table 246 x 100 x 75 cm

Rodolfo Dordoni (1954 to 2023) was an Italian architect and designer whose Milanese practice shaped some of the most recognizable languages in contemporary furniture. A graduate of the Politecnico di Milano, he spent decades serving as art director and product designer for leading Italian brands, building a body of work defined by quiet elegance, rigorous proportions, and a deep respect for materials and craftsmanship.

For Roda, Dordoni created a long and influential series of outdoor collections that brought domestic warmth and architectural clarity to exterior living. His pieces balance generous comfort with disciplined geometry, translating the codes of interior sofas, lounge chairs, and dining tables into forms that belong fully to the garden, terrace, and landscape. Pier exemplifies his ability to distil a product down to a single essential idea, turning a continuous wooden surface into both top and legs of an outdoor table.
