Gordon Guillaumier was born in Malta in 1966 and trained in interior and industrial design in Milan and at the Domus Academy, where he later collaborated with masters such as Rodolfo Dordoni and Luca Meda. Since opening his own Milanese studio, he has worked on product, furniture, lighting, and interior projects for leading European brands, developing a visual language that is calm, rigorous, and quietly poetic.

For Roda, Guillaumier explores the outdoor world through honest materials and composed geometries. Spinnaker distils this approach into an ambitious extendable dining table, pairing the solidity of metal legs with the warmth and rhythm of a teak slatted top, and a hidden tip up mechanism that transforms the surface to welcome up to twelve guests.
