Rodolfo Dordoni

Rodolfo Dordoni was one of the most influential Italian designers of his generation, an architect and designer whose practice spanned interiors, furniture, lighting and art direction for many of the most respected names in the Italian design industry. A graduate of the Politecnico di Milano in 1979, he built a career defined by a deep understanding of industrial processes, a sensitivity to materials and a signature language of quiet elegance, balanced proportions and timeless silhouettes.

For Roda, Dordoni served as a long standing creative voice and developed some of the brand's most recognisable outdoor collections, translating his measured, sophisticated sensibility into pieces designed to live under the open sky. His Roda projects reflect a careful dialogue between structure and textile, between architectural clarity and the softness of cushions and cords, resulting in furniture that feels equally at home in private residences, luxury hotels and contemporary garden settings around the world.
