Description

Designed by Henrik Pedersen, the Block Round Coffee Table sets a low, sculptural drum at the heart of an outdoor lounge. Crafted from natural finish teak with exposed end grain, its round silhouette makes a feature of the timber natural character.

Recessed carrying handles on two sides let you reposition the solid block with ease, and the wide top gives plenty of room to gather drinks and trays. Formed entirely from all weather teak, the table from Pedersen weathers beautifully and grounds the Block collection with warm, tactile presence.

Please Note

The exposed end grain is a deliberate feature of the Block design. As the teak reacts to changes in temperature and humidity, small cracks may open along the end grain. This is normal and does not affect the strength, performance, or life expectancy of the piece. Cracks appear faster and deeper in fully exposed positions and stay less visible in covered locations.

Meet The Designer

Henrik Pedersen

Henrik Pedersen, born in 1967, became a fashion designer in 1990 and is now the head of a design studio based in Aarhus, Denmark. The studio specializes in lifestyle-oriented design, covering a diverse range of products from furniture and lighting to projects for clothing and food packaging companies. His furniture pieces stand out for their elegance, high-quality materials, and clear, refined forms.

Drawing on his education, Henrik embraces the full spectrum of design. His passion for mathematics, combined with his extensive experience, gives him an instinctive ability to determine whether a new design will succeed or fail. Experience and knowledge are important, but the real difference comes in how you apply them. Good common sense and a passion for your craft can take you a long way.

In our design solutions, we take an international approach since our market often spans the globe. Our clients include both Danish and international companies across various industries. Staying in tune with market trends is a crucial part of our work, so traveling, exploring, and drawing inspiration from the moment are key to seeing beyond the future. For me, design should have a purpose.
