Valerio Sommella and Simone Bonanni are two Milan based Italian designers whose collaborative work bridges industrial design, furniture, and lifestyle objects for leading international brands. Sommella, trained at the Domus Academy, is known for a thoughtful, research led approach that balances emotion with rigour, while Bonanni, a Politecnico di Milano alumnus, brings a sharp sensibility for detail, material, and form developed through years inside some of Italy's most respected design studios.

Together for Danao, they bring an unmistakably Italian restraint to the brand's teak programme. The Cabo collection is a study in sculpted solid wood, generous yet disciplined, crafted yet contemporary, designed to age gracefully outdoors and to feel at home in the most considered residential and hospitality settings.
