Mario Ruiz is a Barcelona based Spanish industrial designer recognised for furniture, lighting, and product design for leading European brands. His studio is known for a restrained, functional approach in which proportion, material, and detail carry the work rather than ornament, and his pieces are held in permanent design collections.

For Danao, Ruiz brings a disciplined European sensibility to the outdoor programme. Crosby is a study in material duality, offering the same architectural silhouette in either solid teak or marine grade aluminium so a single language can be tailored to the site and its character.
