Dala Lantern Medium by DEDON | Woven Outdoor Lantern

Description

Designed by Stephen Burks, the Lantern M is a versatile mid sized lantern that works equally well as a table accent or a hanging feature in any outdoor space.

The Dala Lantern M features the open weave structure that allows candlelight to pass through beautifully, creating a warm and atmospheric glow in any outdoor setting. Elegant man made leather handles allow it to be hung or placed on the ground, adding flexibility to its use. Like all Dala accessories, it is hand woven using the same mesh structure and environmentally friendly fiber as the Dala furniture collection.

Stephen Burks

Stephen Burks is an American designer celebrated for his collaborative approach and deep engagement with global craft traditions. His work bridges the gap between industrial design and handmade production, creating pieces that are rich in texture, color and cultural meaning.

For DEDON, Burks created the Dala collection, drawing inspiration from the improvised seating arrangements and artisanal traditions of the developing world. The collection reflects his signature philosophy of merging surface and structure, using DEDON's ecological fiber to produce pieces that are as distinctive in their making as they are in their appearance.
