Dala Planter Large by DEDON | Woven Outdoor Planter

Description

Designed by Stephen Burks, the Planter L makes a strong visual statement on a large terrace, poolside setting or garden, whether planted or used as a standalone decorative object.

The Dala Planter L is the largest and most commanding of the three Dala planters, bringing a bold sculptural presence to any outdoor space. Hand woven using the same mesh structure and environmentally friendly fiber as the Dala furniture, it features a rotomolded internal pot and the richly textured DEDON ecological fiber surface that defines the whole collection.

Meet The Designer

Stephen Burks

Stephen Burks is an American designer celebrated for his collaborative approach and deep engagement with global craft traditions. His work bridges the gap between industrial design and handmade production, creating pieces that are rich in texture, color and cultural meaning.

For DEDON, Burks created the Dala collection, drawing inspiration from the improvised seating arrangements and artisanal traditions of the developing world. The collection reflects his signature philosophy of merging surface and structure, using DEDON's ecological fiber to produce pieces that are as distinctive in their making as they are in their appearance.
