Hana Lounge Chair

Mario Ruiz is a Spanish industrial designer based in Barcelona, widely recognised for his work across furniture, lighting, and product design for leading European brands. His studio is known for a restrained, functional approach in which proportion, material, and detail carry the weight of the design rather than ornament. Ruiz's work has been recognised with numerous international awards and is held in permanent design collections.

For Danao, Ruiz brings that discipline to outdoor teak. The Hana lounge chair pairs a sculptural premium teak frame with generous cushioned comfort, a piece equally at home on a private terrace or in a boutique resort setting.
