Ombrina is Antonino Sciortino's deliberately essential and practical take on the outdoor gazebo, a structure born from a Mediterranean sensibility where the horizontal roof breaks up the sunlight and the slender, transparent frame shapes a contained outdoor room without weighing down the landscape. The 001 combines the Italian taste for handcrafted outdoor furniture with the precision of industrial production.
Its powder coated stainless steel frame is mounted on practical wheels, allowing the entire structure to be repositioned according to the time of day or the needs of the moment. Optional polyester curtains in white or grey mélange can be added to create a more intimate and private setting, turning the gazebo into a sheltered nook for dining, lounging or siestas under the sun.
