Designed by Peter Leleu and made in Belgium, this wall mounted parasol brings shade exactly where you need it, with no base or pole to take up floor space. The square 2.3 m canopy reaches out on the Paraflex Neo arm and rotates a full 360 degrees against the wall, so a balcony, terrace or narrow courtyard stays cool through the day.

Wrapped in premium acrylic canvas and finished in anodised aluminium, the Paraflex is a study in flexible, architectural design. Engineered to Umbrosa's exacting Belgian standards and wind tunnel tested at TU Delft, it is a quiet luxury built to feel considered season after season. Available in thirteen refined canvas colours.

Protective cover: Included.

Material: 100% acrylic canvas canopy (260 g/m²), available in 13 colours.

Frame and arm: Anodised aluminium (RAL 7047) or powder coated black (RAL 9005), with the Paraflex Neo arm.

Mounting: Wall mounted; the Neo wall bracket and bolts are included, no base or pole required.

Rotation: Turns a full 360 degrees on its mount.

Hinges: Marine grade stainless steel 316.

Wind resistance: Up to 5 Beaufort (38 km/h, 24 mph) with the bracket securely fixed, tested at TU Delft.

Meet The Designer

Peter Leleu

Peter Leleu is the Belgian designer behind Umbrosa's Paraflex, widely known as the world's most flexible parasol. His breakthrough was to free shade from the central pole: by hanging the canopy from a single articulated arm, he let a parasol reach over a balcony, fold against a wall or stand beside a table, and turn with the sun rather than the furniture.

That spirit of flexible, functional design runs through the collection. Working in the Umbrosa tradition of Belgian craftsmanship, Leleu pairs engineering precision with a restrained, architectural aesthetic, favouring honest materials and mechanisms that feel effortless to use. The result is outdoor design that is quietly innovative and made to last, as considered in ten years as on the day it arrives.
