Step Square Path Lamp

Niccolo Grassi is an Italian designer whose work moves fluidly between product, lighting and interior design, with a sensibility shaped by craft traditions and a deep respect for materials. Trained in industrial design, he develops projects that favour clear geometries, considered proportions and an honest expression of the materials he works with, from wood and metal to textiles and ceramics.

For Ethimo, Grassi explores the language of outdoor lighting through pieces that feel quietly familiar yet contemporary, drawing on archetypal forms and reinterpreting them with a refined essentiality. His approach combines technical precision with a poetic attention to atmosphere, creating objects that integrate naturally into outdoor settings and contribute to a calm, welcoming sense of place.
