Description

Designed by Henrik Pedersen, the Ambient Sol Parasol unites a Meteor powder coated aluminium frame with a Wheat woven all weather wicker canopy, bringing shade by day and a warm glow by night. Available as a freestanding piece with a 50kg base or an inground and concrete fixed version, it anchors a dining or lounge setting with quiet presence.

An integral mains powered LED unit offers eight light settings through a radio frequency remote that works from up to 35m away, with roughly eight to ten hours of light on a full charge. Henrik Pedersen

Henrik Pedersen, born in 1967, became a fashion designer in 1990 and is now the head of a design studio based in Aarhus, Denmark. The studio specializes in lifestyle-oriented design, covering a diverse range of products from furniture and lighting to projects for clothing and food packaging companies. His furniture pieces stand out for their elegance, high-quality materials, and clear, refined forms.

Drawing on his education, Henrik embraces the full spectrum of design. His passion for mathematics, combined with his extensive experience, gives him an instinctive ability to determine whether a new design will succeed or fail. Experience and knowledge are important, but the real difference comes in how you apply them. Good common sense and a passion for your craft can take you a long way.
