Dala Lantern Large by DEDON | Woven Outdoor Lantern

Description

Designed by Stephen Burks, the Lantern L brings the distinctive hand woven character of the Dala collection to life in a generous, atmospheric format suited to large terraces, poolside settings and garden environments.

The Dala Lantern L is the largest and most dramatic of the three Dala lanterns, making a bold statement as a floor lantern or a hanging feature in any outdoor space. Its open weave structure casts a beautiful, warm candlelight glow through the richly textured DEDON fiber surface, while elegant man made leather handles allow it to be hung or positioned on the ground with ease.

Meet The Designer

Stephen Burks

Stephen Burks is an American designer celebrated for his collaborative approach and deep engagement with global craft traditions. His work bridges the gap between industrial design and handmade production, creating pieces that are rich in texture, color and cultural meaning.

For DEDON, Burks created the Dala collection, drawing inspiration from the improvised seating arrangements and artisanal traditions of the developing world. The collection reflects his signature philosophy of merging surface and structure, using DEDON's ecological fiber to produce pieces that are as distinctive in their making as they are in their appearance.
